Other Criteria of Assam Police Constable Recruitment
Nationality : Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent resident of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration : Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Local Language Proficiency : Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.
Age Limit :
▶ Sub-Officer: Candidate age must be between 20 to 24 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2003 and on or after 01.01.1999).
▶ Other Posts: Candidate age must be between 18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1998).
Age Relaxation : Category-wise upper age limit relaxation is as mentioned below

▶ OBC/ MOBC: 3 (three) years
